Re: Mail Readers?

Thanks for all the people that responded to my message. It seems that most
people use emacs based mail readers (GNUS 5, vm) though some use pine,
elm, and even the new netscape 2.0beta4.

Some people said that elm can sort on based on subject, however you still
have to look at every message, which is almost as bad as leaving them unsorted.
I have one mail group that now has greater than 200 messages in it since
yesterday, and looking through every message still is really time intensive.
tin is nice because if you don't like the subject you don't even have to see
the replies cutting down on time to see the whole group. Also pine is too
user-friendly for my taste, i.e. it takes too many commands to do anything.

I will take a look at the emacs based mail readers, even though IMHO emacs has
rather cryptic commands. But since I can write procmail rules without
losing mail, it should not be all too hard (no offense to Stephen).

Again sorry for asking a question a off topic, but the huge mail I get
was really getting to me.

If anyone uses any other _threaded_ mail reader please let me know.
