Hi all,
while going through my log file for procmail recently, I noticed
quite a large number of errors from procmail:
From pickerin(_at_)fuse(_dot_)net Wed Jan 1 17:46:28 1997
Subject: Re: Minor detail I don't understand.
Folder: sed s/^"Subject:"/"Subject: [Procmail]"/ \ | formail -A"X-pr 2558
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
procmail: Extraneous locallockfile ignored
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I have anywhere between 3 and 6 of these PER ENTRY, and they are
causing my log files to get rather big. I checked the procmail manpage,
and it said:
Extraneous x ignored The action line of this recipe
makes flag x meaningless.
Now, this makes no sense to me, since all of my procmail recipes
work without incident. Could someone please explain this to me in more
detail so I can get these errors out of my logs?
Thanks,
