Sorry, but I am also heavily involved in spamfighting and on-line
censorhsip getting like 100 messages a day. I ALREADY sort them
into different (generalized) folders, but need the modified Subject
lines so I know what's what.
I can understand this. I've got as much as possible sorted into
different mailboxes. If a message gets to my Inbox, chances are
they've never sent me a personal email again.
Why not use something like this:
:0
^TOprocmail(_at_)Informatik(_dot_)RWTH-Aachen(_dot_)DE
IN.procmail
or this if you are concerned about those BCCs to procmail when
happenes whenever someone wants to prove why the above won't work
;-)

I'm fighting SPAM as well, getting about 200+ messages a day from
lists, etc. If you are sorting into mailboxes, then why not sort
procmail message rather than changing subjects?
Sorry...I haven't thought of a hack for outgoing
messages.
How about 'cut'? ;-)
