Debra Walker asked,
| Despite all of this effort, it seems that I have not been able to
| create a procmail recipe (in .procmailrc) that will bounce messages
| sent from certain perpetrators, with an error message, as per an
| exitcode setting, e.g. 67 or 77.
Since Debra is experimenting on mail she receives from Juno, I gather she
is doing that testing at her account on WWA. Also, the "#debraw" in the
.forward she showed us matches her WWA logname but not her Juno logname.
WWA runs Smail, not sendmail. Smail does not care about exit codes set by a
program called in .forward.
I can use those exitcode tricks at my account on EnterAct, but they don't
work on WWA, period, and I'm sure that Smail (EnterAct uses sendmail) is
the reason.
If anyone knows how to make exitcode tricks work with Smail, Debra and I
would be very grateful for the information.
