Hi Simeon ben Nevel! I'm a UNIX administrator, spamfighter, and a virusfighter!
   snevel+getfile(_at_)wco(_dot_)com
Where the SMTP daemon will automagically know to deliver to my
snevel(_at_)wco(_dot_)com mailbox.
How is this set-up? Is it a function of a particular mail-server? Is it
hard to administer?

I know that recent versions of sendmail support it, to test it,
just e-mail snevel+somestring(_at_)wco(_dot_)com, if it works, it's good, if
not, it
will bounce back to you.

I can see *lots* of utility for this as a budding procmail user and would
like to ask my ISP about it, but I don't know what to ask them about.

It's known as a "plussed" address.

Here's an example RCfile for one of mine...

# filter for virus mail and page me
:0 f
* ^TO.*dmuth\+virus
| formail -i "Priority: Urgent" \
- -i"Subject: (Virus)$SUBJECT" \
- -A"X-Procmail-Notice: Subject: and Priority: headers modified"

I also have an autoresponder running at dmuth+help(_at_)ot(_dot_)com
which
obviously takes advantage of plussed addresses, they are VERY useful indeed!

        Regards,
