Trying to locate the source of an error

1997-06-04 09:46:00
Hi,
I'm using a procmail script that I got off the web, and it works
fairly well except that I get an intermittent error.
I run mailstat, and it will show that some mail has gone through
and dropped into my /var/spool/mail/msaroff file, but when I bring up
pine to look at it, it's not there. If I type out the
/var/spool/mail/msaroff file, the message will show up, but it will be
screwed up. The headers will be something like this (please note that
I'm typing from memory):
          wealthforu\.com|\
webcert\.com|\
webdreamer\.com|\
webguides\.com|\
webtrend4u\.com|\
wehelpyou\.com|\
wesmark\.com|\
wobat\.com|\
 ...etc
To: msaroff(_at_)pca(_dot_)net
Subject blah blah blah.

Does anyone out there have any idea what I should look for to see
what is causing this? I've look at this part of the recipe (basically a
long list of domain names), which starts as follows:
# LLV (Softfacts, Inc.)
:0:
* ^(From.|Reply-To:|Message-ID:|Received:).*[^0-9A-Za-z](205\.254\.16[4-7]|\
          1daystar\.com|\

I've checked to make sure that all the parentheses are closed,
and they are. I'm assuming that this some subtle sort of error, but I
can't pick it up.
