procmail security issue

1997-07-21 09:15:00
It seems my ISP has some security measures in place to plug the sendmail
hole. If I try to execute any program or script, it fails, like this:

procmail: Match on "^From: .*Tom"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER= ls>poop"
From tmd(_at_)deering(_dot_)org Mon Jul 21 11:37:38 1997
Subject: Hey!
 Folder: ls>poop 601
procmail: Executing " ls>poop"
procmail: Notified comsat: "deering@: ls>poop"
bin/sh: bin/sh: cannot open

Won't run formail, sendmail, mail or nothing. Now, if they have blocked
this for security reasons, is there a way for me to bounce mail another
way? I'm just trying to autorespond to mail, nothing complicated.

I've been through the man pages twice, and internet searches yield nothing.
Any ideas?

Tom
