Try maildrop. You can get it from
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Peaks/5799/maildrop.README.html. It's
not procmail-compatible, but you can do the same things with it, and I much
prefer maildrop's syntax. It writes large messages (for your definition of
large) to temporary files rather than reading them into memory. It's really
very nice, and I was able to convert all my procmail stuff over to it easily.
