I've had a procmail script running for a long time and it's had no problems.
Recently, procmail began writing to the disk (in my unchanged backup to
disk routines) and keep writing, and keep writing till it filled up the
space and couldn't continue. Then the ISP would delete the file and it
would start filling it up again -- in the end, the ISP deleted the
.procmailrc and the procmail program.
The ISP said this seems to be a common thing he's seen with procmail and
that's why he doesn't like it to be used on his system.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
The last couple of changes I made before the problem were a simple redirect
to a Majordomo List.
