Running Redhat Linux 5.2
Sendmail sendmail-8.9.1-2
Procmail procmail-3.10-13
The recent thread discussing aspects of a ".backward" file has caught
my interest, since I have been scouting for a way to capture all
outgoing mail after my local sendmail is through with it but before my
ISP Smart_host gets it.. All I've found were some references to an
online page with a hack for sendmail:
http://www.harker.com/sendmail/copyuser.html
It didn't look like something I wanted to try on a working mail
system.
Is there a way to pipe outgoing mail through procmail, and a .backward
file that doesn't require hacking sendmail?
