Trust me, I'm not.  You made the statement that procmail could be counting
the blank line at the neck.  It doesn't matter whether you came upon the
possibility by deep analysis or lucky guess.

So far Liviu hasn't answered whether he was asking why the -1^0 is necessary
or why suddenly -2^0 is necessary.  Maybe his MDA is appending yet an extra
blank line to the foot of every message?
