Hi all. Pardon me if this is covered in the FAQ, but after poring through EVERY
procmail
reference I could find, I still found no mention of this. Now, on with the
question. :)
We need a way to add a footer to ALL messages. (i.e. all users) This leaves me
with 2
problems:
1) I need a recipe that will affect ALL incoming & outgoing messages for ALL
users. (At
the moment we have about 200. Hoping to reach 1000+ within a month or two.)
This means
that creating a recipe for each user is not at all feasible. I need to have a
global
recipe. This is the major problem at the moment.
2) I need to add a rotating footer to all messages (via the above recipe.) I'm
probably
just going to refer the recipe to a perl script which will automatically choose
one of the
footers and tack them on. While important, this part isn't quite as vital
(right now at
least :) as part 1.
This is a mission critical phase for us. Without this, the money we've invested
just goes
poof. :( My first idea was to do this directly through sendmail, but our host
uses their
own little modified version of sendmail which we don't get to mess with. Due to
this, we
HAVE to go through procmail. My apologies if this message was a bit on the
verbose side.
