Re: Eudora, somewhat off topic

2000-09-20 09:07:20
I do most of my mail reading on my shell account, so working with
Spam Bouncer is fairly simple.
My wife uses Eudora, and in my perusal of the Eudora Filters, it
seems that only the standard headers were allowed for. I was wondering
how to filter for something like "X-SBClass: Blocked".

Depends on your mail arrangements.

My mail comes to out home via Linux; my wife then can use client softwar on
Linux or NT to get mail from our pop3 server.

A procmail filter in her home directory would work perfectly well; it could be
"delivered" or allowed to default to her box in /var/spool/mail.

It should be possible to write a wrapper to store mail in whatever format E
expects to find in its mailboxes, but perhaps this is overkill;-).
