hopefully i will get around to sending it agin.. i suspect the
log file (included in the attachment originally needs to be
looked at more closely)..
i think it is an AIX.. umm.. okay.. i guess i will get some exact specs
in a sec..
i
don't know for sure
it is UNIX.. i think it is i always telnet.
somebody a while ago here had suggested i might take out
the 'local' that was a wrong suggestion.. believe me..
i understand i need to look at such a thing as is below..
i did.. i don't understand it because it gave me the same
error..
i fudged typed it in.. of course the first thing i did
when i tried to set up procmail is to make sure i understood
what '$HOME' stood for on my particular system.. i may
have transposed 'bin' with 'local'
the log file is in that attachment too.. any other files
or UNIX commands i should do to extract more information
about this because obviously it is required.

Does that help?
Either way, the fact that this user is looking for procmail in /usr/bin
instead of /usr/local/bin indicates to me that we're probably dealing with a
Linux system here. In which case, the user would do well to read Era's
mini-FAQ, specifically "What goes in your .forward file"
