idea (i already new THAT command.. i learned UNIX in 1985.. i have
never worked in it.. i have an email account here i am TRYING to
get procmail going.. i DON"T have a LINUX machine.. i network..
i DON't think i have permissions to reinstall.. )..
let me postpone this..
$ls -l /usr/local/bin/procmail
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root mail 115038 Mar 27 22:09
/usr/local/bin/procmail
this doesn't look good.. does it? };/

i think it is an AIX.. umm.. okay.. i guess i will get some exact specs
in a sec..
a "uname -s" should answer that question.
otay.. i am going to have to postpone agin..
that uname -s was worse than uname -a
$uname -s
AIX
If it's anything but Linux chances
are procmail is in /usr/local/bin (do ls -l /usr/local/bin/procmail to verify)
If it's there, and your .forward file with that path isn't working, I'd look
at how it's being invoked. Unfortunatly I can't help much there as I've always
dealt with systems that used procmail as the MDA,
so never bothered to learn
proper invocation.
