Odd temporary file created by procmail.

2002-05-23 15:39:41
Greetings.

 Newbie here. I have the following .procmailrc:

   MAILDIR=$HOME/courier/
   DEFAULT=$MAILDIR
   VERBOSE=yes
   LOGABSTRACT=all
   LOGFILE=$HOME/logs/hdprocmail.log

   :0
   * ^Subject:.*test
   .Trash/

 I use fetchmail to fetch the mail from my pop3 server. When it
 operates, I see the following in my logfile $HOME/logs/hdprocmail.log:

   procmail: Match on "^Subject:.*test"
procmail: Error while writing to ".Trash/tmp/1022192233.17736_0.ap/logs/hdprocmail.logworld" procmail: Couldn't create or rename temp file ".Trash/tmp/1022192233.17736_0.ap/logs/hdprocmail.logworld" procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/perm/users/deragon-imap/courier/new/1022192233.17736_1.dworld" procmail: Notified comsat: "deragon-imap(_at_)0:/perm/users/deragon-imap/courier/new/1022192233.17736_1.dworld"
   From deragon-imap  Thu May 23 18:17:13 2002
    Subject: Test by hansmail sent on: Thu May 23 18:17:05 2002
Folder: /perm/users/deragon-imap/courier/new/1022192233.17736_1.dworl 842

 Now, why does procmail try to create the file:
 ".Trash/tmp/1022192233.17736_0.ap/logs/hdprocmail.logworld"?  Why does
 it take the value of $LOGFILE and append it with my hostname (which is
"world") and try to create a file with it? This is very counter-intuitive.

I simply want to move any email starting with "test" to the Trash folder. I
 cannot get it to work.

 procmail v3.21 2001/06/29, RedHat 7.2.

Sincerely,
Hans Deragon
