It is unrelated to SHELLMETAS. When a condition begins with < or with >,
procmail takes it for a size test, so if there is text to the right of it
instead of a number (or maybe a variable that expands to a number is all right
if $ interpretation is in effect -- can't test that off-line), procmail
complains.
But of course - I forgot the size test! thanks (:-))
