hi martin...
thanks for the pointer...
if i'm thinking of using procmail as a mailfilter(-m) and want it's default
behaviour to be to "ignore" messages that do not match a recipe....
would....

....try to match a message for the subject "test" and ignore the message if
it does not match?

is anyone using procmail with qmail ? does the latest procmail have
full
support for qmail ?
Many people use procmail with qmail. I'm not sure just what you asking
with "does the latest procmail have full support for qmail". It's more
the other way around - qmail is capable of using procmail for local
delivery. A google search for procmail and qmail will bring back many
hits saying how to set up qmail to deliver via procmail.
If you mean can procmail deliver to qmail-style Maildir folders, yes it
can. A mailbox with a trailing '/' is assumed to be a Maildir folder.
If you mean something else you may need to be a little less general with
your question :-)
Nancy McGough's excellent Procmail Quick Start
http://www.ii.com/internet/robots/procmail/qs/ has some notes and links
relating to using procmail with qmail.
I have no experience of maildrop, sorry.
Hope that is some help,
Martin
