Procmail.org hasn't been sending the list messages to the correct list address (those who've seen the bounces might note that the bounce is complaining about an invalid recipient: procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de -- not lists.rwth...). I suspect some config files on the server were restored from an archived copy for some reason, and that archive was very old.

The following is from one of the bounces, from over a week ago. Reading from the bottom, you'll note that it was received by the procmail.org server (hera.cuci.nl) for the procmail-users address, and from there was relayed to the listserv, where it was rejected - using the OLD list address*.

I've BCC'd Stephen on this (I raised it with someone else earlier in the week, but received no response - but then, the website IS hosted separate from the domain mailer). I trust that he'll resolve it when he has an opportunity.

hosed. So this is simply a ping to see what, if anything, happens.

You like, didn't address your message to procmail-list(_at_)procmail(_dot_)org, so you're not going to see the problem with hera.

* which ironically, is the chief reason I address list posts to procmail-users(_at_)procmail(_dot_)org -- because in the long haul, when someone is examining the list archives at some point, THAT address can probably be assumed to be valid whereas the list host itself might have changed (at it has once before, thus the bounces). That, and the procmail-users address is what is listed in the program version help...
