Sure, there are examples of this in various places.  The basic thing is
that whitespace after a backslash-newline will be ignored causing the
line to be "continued".  And your recipe could be cleaned up a bit; the
'H' flag is redundant as it's a default.

* ^Subject:.*(penis|savings|dvd|exciting|bestiality|sex|viagra|\
        nude|money|100|Mortgage|Casino|\$| Free |Panty|gamble|\
        deal| Win |Life Insurance|weight|improve your|Prize|\
        Happy Father|Million Dollar|vitamin)
/dev/null
