I'm familiar with the \ being used for continuation...I just didn't know
if procmail used it the same way. Thanks for the input.

FTR, I use scoring ('man procmailsc')for this sort of stuff - assigning
"point" values to different keywords, symbols, and combinations
thereof. This allows you to use some keywords which by themselves
aren't
an indicator of spam, but several of them together are more likely to
be. If the total exceeds some threshold, toss it.
