Ditto. I had a sendmail virus filtering recipe that worked fairly well
but I wasn't able to figure out how to catch viruses further down in
multi-part messages. As best I can figure, sendmail was ignoring those
as being part of the message body rather than headers. So I switched
back to procmail.
I noticed a post here the other day from someone who had a sendmail
recipe for filtering body content rather than just headers. I want to
play with that when I have time. I'd like to catch obvious spam and
virus-laden stuff before procmail runs, which would save overhead and
also because sendmail rejects unwanted mail and gives an appropriate
message to the originating server on the fly.
