Somehow I am not getting mbox files

2004-02-03 11:39:48
In trying to get some mail back onto my IMAP server I copied some files to my IMAP server and ran:

% formail -s procmail < the_file

I get this in the logs:

procmail: Assigning "WS=        "
procmail: Skipped "| formail -i"X-Date-Munge: SUCCESS""
procmail: Assigning "FRIENDS=/home/kreme/.friends"
procmail: Executing "grep,-i,^amy(_at_)munged(_dot_)com ,/home/kreme/.friends"
procmail: Assigning "ISFRIEND=amy(_at_)munged(_dot_)com Friends/Amy"
procmail: Assigning "MATCH="
procmail: Matched "Friends/Amy"

Folder: /home/kreme/Mail/(Personal)/Friends/Amy 1908

every thing is fine, right?

but...

$ mutt -f /home/kreme/Mail/\(Personal\)/Friends/Amy

or

$ mail -f "/home/kreme/Mail/(Personal)/Friends/Amy"
Mail version 8.1 6/6/93. Type ? for help.
"+(Personal)/Friends/Amy": 0 messages
&

shows an empty mailbox with no messages. None of my email clients are able to access any of the messages in it.

$ grep -e "^From " "/home/kreme/Mail/(Personal)/Friends/Amy" | wc -l
      37

and the file created APPEARS to be (when looking with nvi) just fine.

What am I missing?
