"Skipped" is a sure indicator of bad syntax in your rcfile.

every thing is fine, right?

Skipped isn't a "fine" thing.

$ mutt -f /home/kreme/Mail/\(Personal\)/Friends/Amy

or

$ mail -f "/home/kreme/Mail/(Personal)/Friends/Amy"
Mail version 8.1 6/6/93. Type ? for help.
"+(Personal)/Friends/Amy": 0 messages

Try 'ls' and let us see file info.

shows an empty mailbox with no messages. None of my email clients are able to access any of the messages in it.

Unexpected path syntax perhaps? What happens if you copy the mbx file elsewhere and open it?
