I think that sendmail know to map the left side of the "@" to the
full name from gcos field in the passwd record. Are you sure that
your username is "dallman.ross"? not your email address?
For that account, my username is dallman.ross, yes. I don't know
what sort of servers they run. It is the German Postal System's
free webmail service for any German resident. epost.de is the
domain. I log in with my username as above.
Also, I used to administer a Linux mail server for a college,
and we used those types of account names.
