But it's easy enough to just leave the 99% of the mail alone anyway,
although you would employ an /etc/procmailrc file. It only needs to
say

* ! ^(To|Cc):(_dot_)*helpdesk(_at_)wherever\(_dot_)edu

Yep, but this is what I was trying to avoid. I don't really want to
enter into /etc/procmailrc for every email that hits our server. Sure,
it's probably not a huge cost, but generally, when you have something
where the first line of logic is "for 99.9% of cases, don't do this",
it's often useful to find a way to only get there when you want it in
the first place. :-) Appreciate the suggestion, though.
I -think- What Klaus illustrated is really the way I want to go,
although I haven't tested yet.
