Now look at the new log. If it's not too big, send it to the list.
Or send a URL to where it can be seen.

The $LOGFILE created using a message from farsitex list is:{{{

procmail: [2199] Tue Apr 19 21:38:21 2005
procmail: No match on
"^X-BeenThere:(_dot_)*farsitex-user(_at_)lists(_dot_)sourceforge(_dot_)net"

Others have already answered that you didn't send just the farsitex
message there but apparently shunted your mailbox with more than
one message in it, the first one being the leading placeholder message
for your mail user agent; and that that exlains the result.
Without the -s flag to formail when sending a folder with multiple
messages, only the first message (the placeholder one, here) will
be considered. The rest will be acted on as if it is one long body
to the first message.

I also want to make sure, when you save just the one message from farsitex
to a file, that you save the *entire* message. Don't just use your
mail program to save a copy; it may strip out many of the headers when
it does so.
