I had saved the message with my mailer PINE.
Hossein, what command sequence did you use to save the message
from Pine? I use Pine all the time and normally it is not
possible to save (or export) the Pine "internal message" using
Pine. This makes me think that something is not right about your
system.
I guess that he saved the message by [S]ave command. When
you Save a message into new folder pine will create the
"internal message".
If you want to run procmail on a message (ie folder) which
made by pine you must edit the file before (Yakchc) or use
formail -s as dman say. All my special procmailrc files
started with the following rule:
:0
* MAILER-DAEMON
* Subject: DON.T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA
/dev/null
BTW, I have written a lot about both Pine and Procmail in the
URLs in my sig -- these might help you set up your system so that
Pine and Procmail work well together.
Actually, this is the first place to visit before you enter
procmail business
Bye,
Udi
Hope this helps,
NM
