Yes it works, but now I have encountered a new problem.
If the "Message-ID:" is
Message-ID: 20050428140913(_dot_)12345(_at_)freenet(_dot_)de
I can not repaire broken Mail-Threads, because the "Message-ID:"
Header should be:
Message-ID: <20050428140913(_dot_)12345(_at_)freenet(_dot_)de>
^ ^
So how can I correct this problem ?
I don't follow, because formail -a Message-Id: does add
the < and > symbols to the Message-Id it creates.
This is right and I have tested it like you
2:44pm [~/Mail] 318[0]> formail -a Message-Id: < /dev/null
From foo(_at_)bar Thu Apr 28 14:44:23 2005
Message-Id:
<A(_dot_)A(_dot_)7CE(_dot_)nqNcCB(_at_)panix5(_dot_)panix(_dot_)com>
But what I like to have, IF the "Message-ID:" header exist
but it is a broken, I like to add the missing "< >" to it.
Greetings
Michelle
