An alternative way to start procmail is from your .forward.
Maybe your current .forward is part of the problem.
A test-recipe that sends a copy somewehere:
:0c
* ^Subject: test
!otheruser+test(_at_)domain(_dot_)tld
(but beware of mail loops)
Your mailer is creating strange "Re[2]:" strings in the Subject. Please
switch that off for mailing lists.
