Yes, that made a difference: now the emails flush and can be read
by emacs-gnus properly. Thanks a lot.
Currently, the only thing that is slighty disturbing is that
procmail warns:
reading message user(_at_)imap(_dot_)some(_dot_)where:142 of 142 (528
header octets) (257 body octets) procmail: Couldn't create "/va\r/mail/user"
it seems, however, that this has no consequences, the emails arive in my local
spool directory ~user/Mail/spool
nonetheless, and so I can live with that.
