That is not unsetting LOGFILE, that is setting it to the empty string.
To unset LOGFILE, leave off the "=".
and cause procmail to write stderr back to
the MTA?

To make LOGFILE point to stderr again, is not easy, but I think it can
be done.
The solution may be different for Linux and BSD though.
