| How flexible is 4/12/2004? "Should" have upgraded sounds a tad optimistic.

It is optimistic, isn't it? But we're already seeing major ISPs
refusing mail from us with yahoo senders because we're not really
yahoo.com, so they think we're forging. If they're refusing mail from
us, they're probably refusing mail from other people too --- other
forwarding providers for university lifetime alumni email accounts, etc.

I'm working to support sender rewriting for postfix as a plugin through
Colander. Most forwarding commercial forwarding services use their own
heavily-modified MTAs so I'm not sure if there would be much point in
providing support for Sendmail --- we wouldn't do a very good job of it
because we don't use it ourselves. If someone wants to do it they can
help themselves to the Mail::SRS module we'll release to CPAN when we're
done with it.
