Could you try digging up some stats on macro usage? I think that is
another important and controversial feature.
Can you be more precise about the sort of analysis you want?
how many SPF records use macros at all?
What are the top 10 macros used? e.g. %{i}, %{ir}, %{p}, etc.
Note that macro usage may not yet be sufficiently widespread to form a
good sample set;
Agreed, but the stats would still be interesting, if nothing else than
to show that they aren't in widespread usage.
Oh and we passed 5000 :) (and appeared to be winning the mindshare on
Slashdot, last I looked).
That is certainly the impression I have gotten. There are certainly
still strong opponents to SPF (or any designated sender system), but
there are a lot of people who think it is obviously a good idea.
