Not a good analogy since these people are reading the mail, to the extent
required to determine if they wish to read further.
Most people would not be happy if the postman tried unreliably to 'guess' what
was (in his opinion) junk and throw it away before it reaches you.
They would probably be a little happier if the postman tried unreliably to
'guess' what was (in his opinion) junk and automatically returned it to the
sender as undeliverable mail. Or even better, if the sender was prevented
from sending it in the first place. Particularly if the criteria were
objective and non-descriminatory rules for sender authentication.
At least this way no mail is just 'mysteriously disappeared'.
