KUDOs to everyone that has managed to REMAIN CALM in
the face of disagreements and even respond to inflamatory
and insulting email with cool-headed aplomb.
I am against XML.
1) I am interested in seeing SPF hit critical mass & wide spread acceptance.
- Write or wrong. Too many people seem to a) hate M$ -or- b) not like
XML
If people choose NOT to implement SPF because they dogmatically oppose
XML, then we all loose. Of course, if SPF becomes an ineffective
tool,
we still loose.
2) I also do not like M$ business tactics. They are just too ruthless and
crafty.
If M$ can agree to virtually all of the request to help out with SPF and
make no
$$ they still win. By virtue of hitching their name to the SPF bandwagon,
they will reap the $$$ benefits of some very good marketing and
could even improve their image with the geek elite. I have no problem with
this scenario.
I am happy to leave these issues to the geeks that are much smarter than I.
Regards,
Brad

Subject: [spf-discuss] XML Poll (Please respond only once)
Before we waste any more time on XML, could we take a quick poll on
whether we want to use it at all? I request all of the members of this
list respond (once) to the list in this thread, stating simply whether
you believe the SPF specification should include the use of XML. I'll
start off:
I am opposed to the use of XML in conjunction with SPF.
-- George Mitchell
Also opposed, for various historical reasons.
