But, serverID xml TXT records require that _ep.*.mydomain.com contain the xml
text record and this is not supported by DNS
systems.
Did I state this problem correctly? Is there any proposal that will solve
this problem?
*.mydomain.com IN MX 210.212.3.4
*.mydomain.com IN TXT "v=spf1 mx ?all"
*.mydomain.com IN TXT "<ep testing='true'>.....</ep>"
This will answer all _ep.*.mydomain.com queries in the same way as SPF record
does.
But this _ep subdomain will allow to create new versions of DNS to support
"_ep.*" -like wildcards.
