RE: Case Sensitivity

That's OK Scott,

I'm the original poster from spf-help and I've been following the discussions
here with some amusement

I've got the current situation -

1) Michael Brumm's SPF filter uses libspf2
2) libspf2 had a small bug
3) libspf2 now fixed (or code to fix it yourself available)
4) Just waiting for Michael to put out a new version of his filter with the
fixed libspf2 in (filter doesn't seem to have version numbers, so I'll have to
guess when it's done)

All very simple really, simple enough even for a poor Windows admin like myself
to understand ;-)

Subject: RE: [spf-discuss] Case Sensitivity

Ignoring the non-technical chatter for a moment...

Looking back over this thread, despite all the chatter about libspf and
libspf2, one thing from spf-help that doesn't appear to have been mentioned on
spf-discuss is that the SPF implementation being used by the original poster
is, "Michael Brumm's SPF filter on W2003 SMTP server". The original poster on
spf-help doesn't appear to have gotten a clear answer to his question (other
than your SPF record is fine, it's a bug).

Just posting in the interests in getting back on the (still unresolved,
AFAICT) topic....
