Re: Which address of this list should auto-responses go?

What happens in the scenario where someone is away from their computer
and
wants to send an e-mail from an internet cafe or someone else's machine -
how does senderkeys cope with that scenario?

The MUA they use reads their mailbox before sending.

Which means what? If I use an internet cafe - it certainly does *not* read
my mailbox before sending. My mailbox is on my server, and is only read if
I ask it to be read.

Agreed. I think whitelisting by each user is the only practical solution
for the moment.

Well - as someone else said already - whitelist the mail-list, not the users
of the mail-list.

Yes I do feel this experiment at SPF and SenderKeys discussion is winding
down. I hope so. Unless there is some really new information to present on
comparing the two.

 Spamassassin integrates with spf,
but there's no-one here banging on about that, it gets mentioned in the
passing as do such systems as cloudmark and gossip. Perhaps you need to
build a mail-list/community of senderkeys supporters who will help you
resolve some of the difficulties (real and perceived) you are finding
here.

What difficulties? You mean the auto-responder? There is no solution
other than whitelisting.

You are confusing accuspam and senderkeys. The autoresponder is an accuspam
problem. I am gently hinting that you need to have a mail-list for
senderkeys and build your support there.

How truely interested are you in SenderKeys?

We are all interested in anything that will help end-users control their
inboxes. If senderkeys can do that, you will find interest, but on your own
mail-list to begin with please. When a lot of the points raised here have
been discussed on your mail-list and clearly explained on your website, then
you might gain a more interested audience. Please don't say that you have
explained everything already, because you have only explained it to your own
satisfaction -- not to the satisfaction of others. You have to explain it
in terms which all the sysadmins and tech-savvy users in the world can
understand easily. That is why you need a mail-list - users will ask
questions and you will have to explain in their terms, which explanation can
then be transcribed into your website FAQ's.

Please make your last posting to this list a url for your own mail-list for
senderkeys.
