spfd

Hi --

I'm trying to get spf working on a mailserver with Exim 4.X.  I have been 
following the
instructions in the samples section of Mail::SPF::Query.  In trying to start 
spfd, I note
that while it appears to start OK, it stays in the foreground rather than 
going into the
background as I would expect a daemon to do.  Do I need to launch this with 
an '&'
at the end; or, am I otherwise missing something?
