Just an add-on for information - -
UN are promoting open source (therefore a lot of GPL) at the moment in
countries joining the internet for the first time in bulk.

if the M$ licence is not compatible with GPL and others, as three lawyers
have now stated, there is a whole sector of the internet that *might* be at
a disadvantage.
