Has anybody else encountered similar issues? If so, what was your solution?

I have an issue in the same area, although not one I have resolved, yet.

I am using SPF/SRS and when I tried to subscribe to users(_at_)spamassassin(_dot_)apache(_dot_)org I got refused because, they use the Return-Path as the logon ID and they forward to another server without any Return-Path processing. They completely ignore the From address.

I can't even email the list owner. It just comes back at me.

It's a mess and now the spamassassin.apache.org IP address is in the SPEWS blocked list. Probably what they deserve.
