Sorry..forgot the example:
"v=spf1 ip4:200.154.52.80/28 ip4:200.154.55.0/24 ip4:200.176.2.0/23
exists:%{i}.%{l}.spf.terra.com.br ~all"

If the sender is postmaster(_at_)terra(_dot_)com(_dot_)br and the IPv4 SMTP
client IP
is 192.168.0.3, then %{i}.%{l}.spf.terra.com.br will expand to:
192.168.0.3.portmaster.spf.terra.com.br. At the recieving SMTP the spf
client would do a lookup on "192.168.0.3.portmaster.spf.terra.com.br"
and try to see whether there is an A record for it or not. If there is
an A record then the "exists" mechanism matches.

Pls refer to section 5.7 of
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-lentczner-spf-00.txt for moe
info.

Regards,

Zia
