RE: Softfail problem at Amazon

The spf record for "amazon.com" does cover that IP address.
I guess they are slow to adjust all other spf records.
Or maybe someone at amazon does not understand that each host/domain must
have a spf record.

Yes, that is not the mistake.  The mistake is that it probably *should*
be listed.  The messages come from an Amazon server (according to the
PTR record), and I looked at the content of a few - they seem to be
legitimate
order notifications.
