Way back when, we ditched the idea of resurrecting SMTP source routes.
Given that SRS and SES run the risk of overflowing RFC local part limits,
it would be nice if there was an official way to provide a MAIL FROM
signature and/or signed source route in a manner similar to the old source
routes.
The standard would not specify any format for signatures - it is
assumed that they are always checked by the signing MTA or its peers. It
would only provide a syntax for specifying signatures and source routes
without encoding them in the MAIL FROM.
