Subject: [spf-discuss] Completion of the VOTE FOR THE SPF COUNCIL.
I've had no notices of any formal objections to the result of
the election of the council, and therefore I say that the result stands,
and the council proceeds as it sees fit. I am now handing over the
responsibility for the future of SPF to Meng, Wayne, Mark, Chuck and
Julian -- good luck to you :-)
Now that the results of the election are certified, I wish to take a short
moment to express my appreciation to those who voted for me. I felt
honored to have been nominated, and even more so to have been elected. I
will honor your vote of confidence in kind.
A special note of thanks to John Pinkerton, for his professional and
flawless running of the election. Along with Chuck, I hope you most
certainly do not vanish into anonymity. :) In the larger scheme of things,
this pertains to the council at large, even: without the many talented
folks of this list, nothing goes.
I look forward to getting things forward.
