I would like top install a stable spf milter for Postfix on Debian, but
there doesn't seem to be any stable packages available on the Debian
website - in spite of the spf.pobox.com downloads page saying it has
been
packaged for Debian. I am certainly not going to put an unstable or
testing
package on a production server, so when do we get a production version?

I've packaged spfmilter for Debian; so as to not bore the list too much
with how Debian handles its stable release, I'll just say that new
software does not get added to existing stable releases, ever.

With that said, I also use stable so I've produced a working package for
stable. You can get it by adding this to your sources.list:
deb http://www.madhack.com/debian stable spfmilter

Bear in mind, also, that the version of sendmail in stable does *not*
provide libmilter.so. I can send you a working copy offlist if you need.

Many thanks - it'll feature on http://spf-help.net with an idiots guide as
soon as I have it working.
