Correct.
'*' is for when host does not exist while '**' is for hosts that do exist
but do not have record for wildcarded RR type.
P.S. I don't have any preference for "**" vs "*!" but I would like to
remind that to enter the latter, the gui or similar interface to dns
zone administration would have to be modified.
