After Wayne had prepared -01pre1, he asked me privately to review it (and 
AFAIK he also gave it to you, Frank).  I then compiled a list of change 
suggestions (which, for reasons of transparency, I am publishing here in 
its original form, see the attachment) and submitted it back to Wayne.

Even before he tended to my -01pre1 suggestions, Wayne proceeded and made 
another private release, -01pre2.  Then he went absent, without having 
commented on my -01pre1 suggestions.

(I'm not telling this to blame Wayne, but just to explain what happened.  
Please leave Wayne alone, will ya? *g*)
