My best guess is that it's the usual FUD of the Sender-ID
faction. Maybe plus a confession of Meng that he broke his
word given in an earlier Council meeting about this issue.
Just for the record, Meng never promised (and was never asked to promise)
not to lobby against "NOT RECOMMENDED". What he promised was not to
promote the draft-lentczner-spf series over the draft-schlitt-spf-classic
series[1,2].
